I'm going to have to get Keiron to go out more often!! Having an evening to myself gave me the chance to play with my Kuretake Zig pens!!

I have been playing a lot recently. Since I got my calligraphy pens I have been trying to practice with them but couldn't get the hang of 'S' - which with my name, was not ideal. Thanks to some fab help from the folks at Kuretake I have now practiced lots and made myself a sign for my main craft room (I'm sure I shall do one for the other room shortly! )
I wrote my name on white card (I dropped the '-Emma' as I ran out of room!!), mounted it onto some yellow card and then added lace around the edges. I finished it with a yellow polka dot ribbon and I attached it to the door with a pin with a white heart for a pin head. LOVE IT! :-D
I also made some notebooks last week. I coloured some stamped images with Zig's Art & Graphic pens - some direct to paper and some with a waterbrush. I then dipped all the images in UTEE to make them all shiny and "plasticky" (technical term I think!!).
I also used Kuretake's Wink of Stella pens on this boys iPod and shoes. Here's a close up of the glittery sparkle you get from these pens!
The next two I added ribbons to the side but forgot to photograph them and sold them at a craft fair on Sunday so please they imagine they have ribbons tied down the binding!!
On this owl I also used a silver metallic marker for the flowers on his front.

Next a card that I coloured almost entirely with Wink of Stella pens other than her face.
Managed to take a picture showing how much these pens sparkle!!

And another:
The image was coloured entirely with Wink of Stellas except the hair, hat and wings which I coloured with Promarkers and then used the clear Wink of Stella over the top of them. The clear one is really good as is like having a Wink of Stella in any colour you have in any other pen (although the set of 12 include most colours you could need!)
Here are two cards I made for the craft fair, intended to be exam success cards, which I coloured with Kuretake's Art & Graphic pens.
Finally - I stamped this castle image and sentiment - both from Hero Arts - using one of the Art & Graphic pens. I then used a waterbrush to pull out the colour from the castle and colour the image. I also used the same pen to colour some 'icing sugar' candi so that it matched the rest of the card.

A few people have asked me about the Art & Graphic pens recently. I love working with these pens. They are so easy to use. I have tried watercolouring with Aquamarkers but as well as the ease to use the Art & Graphics what I love the most is the colours. You can get really vibrant colours or with the use of water much softer tones. They are also easy to use direct to paper.
Here are some cards I have previously blogged using Kuretake pens:
