Brother

This is another card that was supposed to post last week as on Thursday it was Keiron's brother's 30th birthday.

This is the card that I made for him.

I started with a piece of card that was a sort of olive colour and came in a card making kit.  I used some orange thread to stitch some stripy paper onto it (possibly Stampin Up but I can't remember!!)

I used some distress ink around the edge (I can't remember anything it's been so long since I made this but I think it was either peeled paint or shabby shutters.... or crushed olive!!!)

The image is a Lili of the Valley stamp and I used Copic markers for his skin but coloured the rest with distress inks, apart from the 'sky' which I used a Pan Pastel in ultramarine blue tint.

Finally I cut 'brother' and '30' from some brown and gold polka dot paper using the word play die from sizzix.
